Cancellation Policy
Last updated
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, in full — plus what happens for bad weather, late arrival and supplier cancellations.
The default rule
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the experience, with a 100% refund. After that, the experience is no longer refundable, except in the cases listed below.
That is the rule applied by default, but it is not the only one: each supplier may set its own. The rule that applies to your booking is the one shown on the listing, repeated in the summary before payment and carried on your voucher. If they differ, the voucher prevails.
Bad weather
Some experiences — boat trips, hikes, outdoor activities — allow cancellation for weather conditions. Where the listing says so, a cancellation decided on that ground is refunded in full, even inside the 24-hour window. The judgement rests with the supplier, who alone is in a position to assess the safety of their activity.
Cancellation by the supplier
If the supplier cancels — for any reason, including too few participants where its listing sets a minimum — you are refunded in full, with no deadline condition. The supplier may offer you another date: accepting is entirely your choice, and refusing does not reduce your refund.
Late arrival and no-show
A group departure does not wait. Arriving after the time shown on the voucher may prevent participation, and that situation does not give rise to a refund. Not turning up without cancelling first is not refunded either.
If you know you cannot come, cancel: within the window it is refunded; outside it, it at least frees the place for someone else.
Changing rather than cancelling
Changing date, time slot, language or number of travellers is possible as long as the new option is available and the cancellation deadline has not passed. A change carries no fee of its own; if the new price differs, the difference is settled either way.
How and when you are refunded
Refunds are issued to the original payment method — they cannot be redirected elsewhere. They are triggered as soon as the cancellation is confirmed; how long they then take to appear on your statement is up to your bank, usually a few days to two weeks.
Any exchange fees your bank applied on the original payment are not refundable by the platform: they were never paid to it.
If you disagree
Open the booking's message thread: it is visible to both the supplier and the platform. If the disagreement persists, the platform decides on the evidence and may grant a full or partial refund, including against the supplier's view.
